FalconGaze announced release of SecureTower v.1.0 RC

FalconGaze announced the release of the SecureTower v.1.0 RC software product designed for ensuring complex data leak protection of any company through internet-traffic interception and analysis. It is a complex DLP solution for maintaining ongoing control over undesired disclosure of classified data through the Internet.

The product enables interception of all the data flows transferred across the local or corporate network including incoming and outgoing e-mail messages (web-mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.), conversations in instant messengers (Skype, MSN, ICQ/AIM, QIP, etc.), messages and comments in forums, blogs, social networks (HTTP). Apart from that, one can listen to voice messages and calls made from Skype, view web-pages visited by network users, track documents and files sent in instant messengers, in e-mail attachments, or uploaded to a remote web-server over HTTP and FTP protocols.

The solution is aimed at solving three different objectives: controlling confidential data leak through the internet, monitoring network activities of certain employees to evaluate their performance and reasonable use of working time, and archiving intercepted data for further data leak incident investigations or establishing some facts in the past.

Among the key functional features of the product is an automatic analysis of ongoing data targeted at detecting confidential information transfer, which enables receiving immediate notifications on information security breaches. The user ID card system implemented in the program quickly identifies the user who transferred suspicious data, as well as enables viewing all network activities of the selected user.

The key features of SecureTower v.1.0 RC:

• Interception of internet traffic (the program extracts information transmitted over the following application-level protocols: HTTP, FTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, OSCAR, MSN and Skype)
• Traffic filtration upon interception based on the settings specified by data security department, which enables interception only of the required information and only from the specified workstations
• Automatic data analysis that enables receiving data security breach notifications
• Identification of a user in breach of information security policy
• Network user activities reports
• Saving all the intercepted information to a database and full-text search within the intercepted data
• Interception statistics in a real-time mode

What is particular about the program is that it has a high-efficiency traffic interception system, scalability, and enables advanced use of all the features of multi-processor systems to ensure its reliable performance even in the conditions of a heavily loaded network.

The program supports Windows XP and higher, including 64-bit versions.
